About The Artist

Hey - Hello!! About Me? The Artist - I have been referred to as an “artist” most of my life.  I usually think of myself more as a creative - someone who loves to “make things.”  Often times the “things” I make, or have made, include found objects or repurposed items.  As a child and teen I spent many hours on any number of creations.  My interests have included sewing and fibers, painting paper, walls and canvases, clay and paper mache construction, building, planting, animals and naturally metals & personal adornment.  I love nature and spending time outside with her.  I came to metalsmithing later in life - but not late enough to fully embrace the medium.  I am currently a retired teacher - art of course.  I spend my time still - putting pretty things together hopefully for someone to enjoy.
